Sadbhavana medical camp conducted at Nameri in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: A Sadbhavana Medical camp was held at Potashali Tarajan LP School of Nameri area in Sonitpur district on January 30 by 4004 Fd Hosp & 4 CDU under the aegis of Med Branch HQ 4 Corps.

Two medical officials, one dental officer from 4 CDUs, two nursing tech JCOs and one pharma JCO and 26 paramedics took part in the programme. 415 patients (132 males, 173 females and 110 children) were benefited from the camp. Screening for diabetes mellitus, anaemia and cataract were carried out and four diabetes, three cataract and eight anaemia cases were detected. Cataract cases were further referred to 155 Base Hospital for Ophthalmology consultation. 37 patients having dental ailments were treated by the Dental Officer. Medicines were distributed to patients as prescribed by the medical officers.
