Sadou Asom Lekhika Samaroh Samiti formed reception committee in Gaurisagar

GAURISAGAR: Sadou Asom Lekhika Samaroh Samiti , one of the premier literary organizations of the State established in 1974 is going to celebrate its 29th biennial Conference at historic Sivasagar in 2022. With a view to form a reception committee a public meeting was held on Sunday at the auditorium of Gaurisagar Higher Secondary Industrial Institute.

The meeting was chaired by the president of Sadou Asom Lekhika Samarooh Samiti Charu Saharia. The other dignitaries who attended the function were Swarnala Baruah Gogoi, Kabita Rajguru, Charu Saikia, Sakuntala Devi.

In the meeting, a strong reception committee has been constituted headed by Aparajita Bhuyan as president, Arundhuti Mahanta, Tarulata Gogoi ,Bhadra Chetia as executive presidents. Earlier the meeting started by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dipali Chaliha, retired principal, Sibsagar commerce college.
