Sahitya Sabha branch of Bishwanath remembered Agnikabi Kamalakanta Bhattacharya

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Under the initiative of Bishwanath Chariali Branch Sahitya Sabha, Agnikabi Kamalakanta Bhattacharya was remembered during a day-long programme at Chariali Adarsh Vidyapeeth, Bishwanath Chariali today. On Monday.

The flag of Axam Xahitya Xabha was hoisted in the premises by Kamal Chandra Bhuyan, president of the branch. Prominent writer-poet Dilip Kumar Bhattacharya took part as the keynote speaker at the event. He spoke on the life and philosophy of Agnikabi Kamalakanta Bhattacharya and the relevance of Agnikabi Kamalakanta Bhattacharya in the present time. Poet Ajit Kumar Hazarika, lyricist Archana Bara, student Neki Bara and Gitanjali Shaikiai also spoke in the programme. Lyricist-composer Dhruvajyoti Rajkhowa called upon the branch to take special steps for the promotion of Agnikabi Kamalakanta Bhattacharya's literature.
