Sanitization drive carried out in Golaghat in view of COVID-19 outbreak

GOLAGHAT: The Doigrung Gaon Panchayat under Morangi Development Block started a drive to sanitize the public areas on Wednesday. Under the supervision of president and secretary of Doigrung Gaon Panchayat, Sumi Baruah and Nitul Phukan respectively, and 17 No. Morangi ZPC member Purabi Sarma, the sanitization drive was carried out at Doigrung market area, footpath, AGVB campus and Samabai Samiti office campus.

In this regard, GP secretary Nitul Phukan said that following the guidelines of the Assam Government, the sanitization drive was carried out by spraying disinfectants and bleaching power in public areas under Doigrung Panchayat. The sanitation drive will continue till March 31 in the panchayat areas.
