Sarupathar Municipality Board to Help for stranded people

SARUPATHAR: With India being on a 21-day lockdown to fight against the novel coronavirus, many people have been left stranded. The Sarupathar Municipality Board has come forward to help the needy people. The Sarupathar Municipality has provided food packets to 85 families at ward no 4 in Sarupathar under Golaghat district. These food packets contain 10 kg rice, 3 kg dal, and 200 ml mustard oil. Similarly, Dr. Atul Chandra Dutta from Sarupathar extended a helping hand towards the stranded by donating Rs 50,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
