Sashastra Seema Bal organised free veterinary camp in Udalguri district

TANGLA: The 23 Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) stationed at Lalpool in Udalguri district organised a day-long free veterinary camp under its veterinary civic action programme at Kachubil, which is a remote Indo Bhutan border village on Tuesday. The veterinary services were rendered by Dr. S. M Singh (SG) of veterinary staff of the battalion along with other staff members where livestock medicine worth Rs.20,000 were distributed for the sick domestic animals after check-up. More than 150 such domestic animals were brought for the checkup. The villagers noted the goodwill gesture of the battalion and hoped that such services are provided in near future.
