Guwahati: After a long wait, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has finally declared the results of the HSLC (Class 10) examination today. Owing to the lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus, the board has only made the results available online and students will have to download their digital mode of marksheets through websites or through the board's official mobile application from 9 am onwards.

This year, students can also check their results on the SEBA Results 2020 mobile application that is available as a few download on the Google Play Store To avail results, students will have to enter their examination roll numbers in a provided space upon doing which, they will be directed to their exam results.

This year, the board has directed the educational institutions to arrange for admission of the candidates in Class XI based on the digital marksheets after verification of the results through the Results Gazette. Meanwhile, the board has also said that results that are being withheld because of registration anomalies or other reasons will be cancelled automatically if they are not collected.

It may be mentioned here that this year, a total of 3,48,737 students have appeared, and the pass percentage is 64.80%. While 66.93% males have cleared the exams, 62.91% females have passed.

A total of 5,941 candidates have received distinction marks (510 and above), and 10,815 students have received star marks (450 and above). At the same time, 48,278 students secured first division, 77,850 students secured second division, and 95,829 students secured third division marks in this year's examination.
