Second case of COVID fatality reported in Jamugurihat

Jamugurihat: Due to community transmission of COVID-19, the tally of COVID positive persons is increasing in different parts of Jamugurihat. The second case of COVID fatality was reported here on Sunday. Bhaben Bhuyan (80) of Jamugurihat was admitted to Baptist Mission Hospital, Mission Chariali, Tezpur for high pressure some days back. He tested COVID-19 positive on Sunday at Mission Hospital and was sent to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) for further treatment but he breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Earlier, Hiranya Saikia (52), a businessman of Jamugurihat, died of COVID-19 on September 17.
