Second phase of eviction drive conducted in Pabha Reserve Forest, Lakhimpur
The eviction drive conducted by Lakhimpur district administration and Lakhimpur Division of the Forest Department continues in the historic Pabha Reserve Forest.

LAKHIMPUR: The eviction drive conducted by Lakhimpur district administration and Lakhimpur Division of the Forest Department continues in the historic Pabha Reserve Forest. On Wednesday, the second phase exercise of the eviction was conducted at Adhakhana sector of the Reserved Forest to free up 250 hectares of land belonging to the same. During the operation on the day, a total of 299 households were dismantled.
On the other hand, Naoboicha MLA-cum-former cabinet minister of Congress-led government, Bharat Chandra Narah had to face the wrath of the evicted people on Wednesday. The eviction victims demonstrated against him alleging his extreme failure to stand with them during the hour of need. They shouted various slogans slamming him. The first phase eviction was launched at Mohghuli sector of the Reserved Forest on Tuesday.
