Seminar on education held at Lakhimpur Commerce College

LAKHIMPUR: A seminar on education was organized on Tuesday at Lakhimpur Commerce College. The seminar was organized by department of Education and was inaugurated by Dr Arupa Dutta, Assistant Professor of the Department of Education.

In the event, two lectures on 'Role of Education in Capitalist and Socialist Economy' were delivered by Ripunjoy Bora and Eltaf Hussain, two students of BA VI Semester, Department of Education. Another deliberation on 'Gender Inequalities in Patriarchal and Matriarchal Societies' was discussed by student Priya Kumari and Sangeeta Chetry. The interactive session of the seminar ended with vote of thanks by Dr Lima Baruah, HoD-Education Lakhimpur Commerce College.
