Seminar on mapping traditional museums held in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: A national-level seminar on the topic 'Mapping traditional museums in contemporary times' was organized by the Department of History, Doomdooma College in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) of the college in virtual mode recently.

The webinar was inaugurated by Dr Prakash Jyoti Barthakur, Principal of the college, while Madhurya Mahanta, Head of the Department, History welcomed the guests. Abantika Parashar, District Museum Officer, Jorhat who participated as resource person, dwelt at length on the topic and apprised the participants about various career opportunities related to Museum Science. The webinar was interesting as its subject was off beat and very few are aware of its career opportunities.
