Senior advocate passes away in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Senior advocate of Golaghat Bar Association, social worker and CPI activist Ghana Baruah passed away on Wednesday at Golaghat Court. Boruah died following pressure stroke while he was busy at work. He was 69. He lived in Chinatoli village of Golaghat district.

His death has been widely mourned by the members of Golaghat Bar Association, people of Chinatoly Gaon and all the organizations of which he was a part. He leaves behind his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers. The president and secretary of Golaghat Bar Association, Mohen Dutta and Durga Prasad Jaiswal have condoled his demise.
