Senior officers to visit international border villages in Chirang district

The senior officials of Chirang district administration will visit villages of the Indo-Bhutan international border areas in order to organise various activities for the welfare of the people of those areas on January 24 and 25.

KOKRAJHAR: The senior officials of Chirang district administration will visit villages of the Indo-Bhutan international border areas in order to organise various activities for the welfare of the people of those areas on January 24 and 25.

In this regard, the Chirang district administration has already constituted four teams headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioners comprising officials of the line department concerned. While visiting the villages, these teams will organize awareness programmes on departmental schemes, interact with beneficiaries of various schemes of different departments, fill up the format of Adarsh Gram Yojana, find out the possibility of new benefit delivery to the villagers and discuss to find out the priorities and difficulties and chalk out future plan. The villages like Mwinaguri, Lalbheti, Medinipur, Hatisar FV, Hatisar Forest Block, Malivita Forest village, Shantipur Forest village and Simlaguri Forest village will be covered during the exercise. Chirang Deputy Commissioner P Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy called upon all the people of these areas to come forward and attend the programme to avail the benefits of various schemes being implemented by the government.
