Sensation prevailed in Tezpur following the death of patient

Tezpur: Sensation prevailed in a private nursing home in Tezpur on Tuesday following death of an accident patient.

According to information, on September 4, two youths of Jamuguri Morhadal area, namely Bikash Hazarika (22) and Sanjib Neog, sustained serious head injuries in a road accident in the Naltali area on NH 37 (A). They were rushed to a frontline nursing home at Mission Chariali where Sanjib Neog succumbed to his injury.

However, necessary treatment was given to Bikash Hazarika in the hospital. After 11 days of struggle for life, the patient breathed his last on Tuesday.

Later, over 100 people from Jamuguri area rushed to the hospital and questioned the hospital authority as to how the patient died, thereby creating an awkward situation. Police rushed to the hospital and brought the situation under control.
