As many as 302 appointment letters were distributed to the teachers. Amongst them were 245 teachers for LP Schools and 57 teachers for ME Schools.

Kokrajhar: Ceremonial distribution of service regularization letters by Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) to the re-instated teachers of LP and ME schools appointed in the year 1999 of BTR, was held on July 15 at the auditorium hall of Commerce College, Kokrajhar. As many as 302 appointment letters were distributed to the teachers. Amongst them were 245 teachers for LP Schools and 57 teachers for ME Schools.

BTC CEM Pramod Boro said that among the 302 teachers, some teachers had service balance of only 4-5 years left for retirement. "That is very unfortunate. We are committed to reinstate your services. So we have done today. My request to the reinstated teachers is that they should perform their duties sincerely," he said. The ceremonial distribution programme was also attended by Kati Ram Boro, Speaker, BTCLA; Reo Reoa Narzihary, EM; and other dignitaries.
