Shocking: Two Bodies recovered from separate places in Sonitpur

Tezpur: In two separate incidents, a body of an old aged person was found at Balipara Rail Line of Sonitpur District on Sunday morning.

As per eyewitnesses, the person identified as Naren Boro is a resident of Uporkachari Village.

It has also come to light that the Naren Boro was reported missing since the evening hours on Saturday.

The incident led to a sensation among the family members of the deceased Naren Boro, as the family members failed to trace his whereabouts.

Reportedly, a local spotted the body at Balipara Rail Line on Sunday morning and informed the matter to local police.

Speaking to the media, locals suspected that the person might have died after being hit by a running train.

On the other hand, a body of an unidentified person was recovered from Ganesh Ghat in Tezpur in the afternoon hours on Sunday.

The person suspected to be around 30-35 years old was wearing a jeans pant and maroon colour shirt.

Meanwhile, police have recovered the body from Ganesh Ghat.
