Shopkeeper Beaten To Death For Denying Credit In Assam's Nagaon District

Guwahati: A shopkeeper was allegedly beaten to death for refusing to give items on credit in Assam's Nagaon district.

Reportedly, the incident took place on Monday, when the victim identified as Amsad Ali refused to give some items from his shop to the accused named Naser Ahmed on credit.

After the Ali's denial, Naser created ruckus at the shop following which both of them got involved into an argument which later turned into physical fight.

Naser brutally thrashed Ali, however, after locals intervention the fight between the duo stopped but Ali was severely injured.

He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, police have filed an FIR and looking for the Ahmed who has been absconding after the incident.
