Assam government organized a 2-day program to celebrate World Tourism Day in a bid to promote Assamese culture and tradition.

OC Dhing bagged the first position in photography competition organized by Assam tourism department on Sunday on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2020.

Nagaon Police took to their official Twitter handle to announce the same and shared the picture which made Inspector Phukan win the position.

A two-day long program to celebrate World Tourism Day was announced by Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah with a view to promote Assamese culture, traditions, and tourist destination.

Along with the photography competition, a short film competition, and a writing competition was also organized.
