SITA Assam vice-chairman Ramen Deka visits Barpeta
Vice-chairman Ramen Deka of State Innovation & Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam, along with officials of SITA visited Barpeta on Monday to take the status of the Aatasbaazi Firework Industry.
BARPETA: Vice-chairman Ramen Deka of State Innovation & Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam, along with officials of SITA visited Barpeta on Monday to take the status of the Aatasbaazi Firework Industry. On reaching there, the vice chairman presided a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner's conference hall to discuss the problem faced by the industry and to explore the possibility to upgrade the Aatasbaazi Firework Industry.
In the meeting, Ramen Deka said that a joint management committee may be constituted under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner. After a threadbare discussion the meeting was of the opinion that a revolving fund may be released by the State Innovation and Transformation Aayog for the survival and uplift of the Aatasbaazi Firework Industry. Later on accompanied by the district Deputy Commissioner Tez Prasad Bhusal, ACS, and other officials, the vice chairman visited the site in and around the Firework Industry village.
The meeting at the DC conference hall was attended by District Development Commissioner Diganta Das, SPO Dijen Das, ADC Nabajit Pathak and a host of other members, stated a press release.
