Sivasagar Anganwadi centers distributed sitting mats under Mission 'Soulful Sivasagar'

SIVASAGAR: As part of the ongoing Project ‘Morom’ initiative, under the umbrella Mission Soulful Sivasagar, a humble effort of distributing sitting mats at the Anganwadi centers was undertaken by the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya on Friday.

The Deputy Commissioner along with the team of Mission Soulful Sivasagar, on Friday, visited six different Anganwadi centers of the district, namely, No. 80 Deoliakhat Anganwadi Centre, No. 159 Polasani Anganwadi Centre, No. 17 Binapani Sangit Vidyalaya Anganwadi Centre, No. 93 Solagaon Anganwadi Centre, no. 48 Na-Pam Gaon Primary School Anganwadi Centre, and 75 No. Hatimuria Anganwadi Centre and distributed sitting mats as per the requirements of the centers.

The initiative was quite appreciated by the local public and Anganwadi workers and they expressed their gratitude to the district administration for this noble initiative under the able leadership of the Deputy Commissioner.

Sivasagar District Administration also initiated another project titled ‘Project Lakshya’ under Mission Soulful Sivasagar, which aims to provide quality coaching to candidates for UPSC and APSC, hailing from all sections of society who dream of serving as officers in different capacities in central and state front.
