SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav visited the Dairy Processing Plant, Nazira under Sundarpukhuri Dairy Co-operative Society recently and stressed on making the project which is currently stalled in production operational at the earliest. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner had a detailed discussion on milk production and procurement with the officials including the president and secretary of the cooperative. He advised dairy development department official Hillol Gogoi to extend necessary cooperation in this regard.
On the other hand, he directed the cooperative department official Hridoyjyoti Molia to monitor the accounts of the cooperatives. He sought the cooperation of all present to make the project functional again and said that he would extend full cooperation from the administration in this regard. During the inspection, The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Nazira Dub-Divisional Officer Ayushi Jain, assistant commissioner Pritam Gogoi along with officials of public Works Department, Assam Gas Corporation etc. After this, the Deputy Commissioner arrived at the pig processing plant and took stock of the latest progress in the construction work.
