Sivasagar DC Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya meets Arjuna awardee Bhogeswar Baruah

SIVASAGAR: Following directives of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya on Monday visited the great athlete, the first Arjuna award winner from Northeast India and the pride of Assam, Bhogeswar Baruah at his residence to take stock of his health condition, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Bidit Das and Superintendent of Sivasagar Civil Hospital and a team of doctors and health staff.

He is keeping well and the DC on behalf of the Government of Assam promised all assistance when needed. She also expressed gratitude to Bhogeswar Baruah for being a great inspiration to sportspersons in Assam, Northeast India and the rest of the country.
