Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner visits Panidihing Bird Sanctuary

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav accompanied by Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad, Aswini Doley, Assistant Executive Engineer of Zila Parishad, Block Development Officer of Demow Development Block as well as Assistant Engineer of Gaon Panchayat and Development Block visited Panidihing Bird Sanctuary under Charaguwa Gaon on Wednesday.

The Deputy Commissioner took stock of the problems of bird sanctuaries and directed the forest department to take appropriate measures to prevent the killing of birds. He also took stock of the Amrit Sarovar scheme going on for excavation. Later, he visited Maharani Gaon Panchayat and took stock of the progress of the Amrit Sarovar scheme and directed the departmental heads and engineers to work expeditiously.
