Sivasagar District Administration Organizes Covid-19 Review Meeting

DEMOW: The Sivasagar district administration had organized a review meeting under Demow Revenue Circle on COVID-19 in Demow Multi-Purpose Building on Monday where Jorhat Lok Sabha MP Tapan Kumar Gogoi, Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra constituency, Bishnu Kamal Borah, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district, Phyllis Hrangchal, Demow Circle Officer, Kushal Dowari, former MLA of Thowra constituency, and other officials were present.

After the meeting ended, while interacting with the media persons of Demow, MP Tapan Kumar Gogoi said that in order to decrease the death rate as well as to decrease the positivity rate for COVID-19, awareness should be increased among the people and the government SOPs should be followed in order to tackle the COVID situation. In the review meeting, the Panchayats were said to do sanitization, distribute masks and create awareness among the people. It was also stressed that people should follow the government guidelines and SOPs.
