Sivasagar district Deputy Commissioner inspects developmental works

DEMOW: Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district Aditya Vickram Yadav inaugurated and inspected various developmental works of Nitaipukhuri, Panidehing and Rajabari Gaon Panchayats under Demow Development Block on Saturday. Aditya Vickram Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district at first inaugurated the CMSC in Nitaipukhuri Gaon Panchayat which was constructed under the 15th Finance Commission and also inspected various schemes implemented by MGNREGA. After that the DC had an exchange of opinion with the beneficiaries of PMAY-G of Panidehing Gaon Panchayat and instructed the departmental officers to take different measures to complete the construction of houses within stipulated time.

He also inspected various schemes under MGNREGA in Panidehing Gaon Panchayat. Later, he inspected the raised platforms constructed under MGNREGA in Dehing Kal Ghar Gaon under Rajabari Gaon Panchayat by crossing the river boats in Dehing River. The DC was accompanied by Bihangi Bhagawati Das, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Demow Development Block, the presidents, secretaries of Nitaipukhuri, Panidehing and Rajabari Gaon Panchayats, officials of development block and Panchayats officials were present.
