Sivasagar girl Subhashree Borthakur brings laurels

SIVASAGAR: In a glittering ceremony attended by many Bollywood personalities and prominent figures from the fashion industry of India, Sivasagar girl Subhashree Borthakur was crowned Miss Pune Festival Beautiful Smile and Miss Dental World Beautiful Smile 2022, Season-8 held at Ganesh Kala Krida Ragmanch, Pune, Maharashtra.

Out of 150-200 participants only 20 top contestants were selected for Miss Pune Festival (MPF) 2022, Season-8. MPF 2022, Season-8 is a state level beauty pageant organized by Supriya Kalawant Tamhane under the presidency of Suresh Kalmami for young girls of 18-25 age group where they used to groom the contestants in different types of art- modelling, dancing, yoga etc. The grand opening of Pune Festival 2022 was inaugurated by Union Minister of Road and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis in the presence of the legendary superstar of Bollywood Hema Malini and Sunil Shetty. Subhashree Borthakur, born and brought up in ONGC Colony, Sivasagar, is the daughter of noted sports organizer and vice-president of Sibsagar Press Club Pabitra Borthakur and noted poet Juna Borthakur. She has a Celebrity Talk Show of her own, named as, Arghaa's Interactive Waows (AIW) where she have already interviewed prominent celebs like Jatin Bora, Prastuti Parasar, Nishita Goswami, Rimpi Das, Garima Garg Saikia, Deeplina Deka, Parineeta Borthakur (Hindi/TV/Bollywood actor), Mallika Naiyak (Hindi TV actor), Silman Marak (Bollywood/official guitarist of Big Boss Season 12), Rohit Vartak (Indian's first person to initiate the sport of Highlining and Slacklining) .
