Sivasagar: Hanhchara mourns loss of distinguished historian Udayaditya Bharali

NAZIRA: The death of renowned historian, storyteller, critic, and former Cotton College Principal Udayaditya Bharali sent shockwaves of grief throughout his birthplace, Hanhchara in Sivasagar. Born to Umakanta Bharali, a police officer, and Bhuvan Prabha Bharali, Udayaditya Bharali was the second son of the family.

Udayaditya Bharali’s mother, Bhuvan Prabha Bharali, was the eldest daughter of the famous Mouzadar Suren Gogoi of Hanhchara’s Jatipatia village. Udayaditya Bharali spent his early years in Hahchara and later moved to Guwahati, where he settled in South Sarania.
