Sivasagar NGOs Busted Sex Racket, Couple Arrested

SIVASAGAR: Two Sivasagar based NGOs called Arohan and Jagriti Mahila Samiti busted a sex racket in Sivasagar on Friday.
The racket was allegedly run by a married couple in the Amolapatty area in Sivasagar town. The accused couple, identified as Ajgar Ali and Usha Begum, was later handed over to the police.
According to sources, the members of the NGOs raided the couple’s rented house after receiving complaints from the locals, following which they were caught red-handed. The couple was also thrashed by the members of the NGOs but later rescued by the police.
The police have also recovered a huge quantity of objectionable items from the spot. According to the sources, the couple had been running the sex racket for the last two years.
