Sivasagar Police Undertakes ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ Campaign

SIVASAGAR: The civil and police administration of Sivasagar along with people from various walks of life took part in the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign on Saturday with a view to fulfil the Central Government’s commitment towards a clean, healthy and strong India.

The newly-joined Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, Dr MS Lakshmi Priya and Sivasagar Superintendent of Police, Amitava Sinha took part in the campaign at Central Market and other parts of the town, and stressed the importance of cleanliness.

Taking part in the campaign organized by Sivasagar Police, DC Dr Lakshmi Priya stressed the significance of cleanliness and hygiene. She appealed to everyone to actively participate in the cleanliness mission. She also spoke about the ongoing Poshan Abhiyan and urged people to provide nutritious food to pregnant women and children to make them healthy. CRPF personnel took part in the campaign.
