Six injured in a road mishap near Demow in Gajali

DEMOW: A road accident took place near Demow in Gajali on the NH-37 road on Tuesday where six people were seriously injured. According to sources, an Eco Sport and a Tata AC car had a head- on collision near Demow in Gajali at NH-37 Road on Tuesday due to which six people were seriously injured. In the accident, the front side of the Tata AC car was totally damaged and the driver, handyman and one person who were in the Tata AC car could not come out from the car. Local people took out the injured persons from the car and sent them to Demow Model Hospital for treatment. On the other hand, the Eco Sport car was coming from Jorhat side and heading towards Moran side. Monu Deb Nath, the driver of the car, Dilip Dey, Shristi Dey and Sima Roy who were in the car were also injured. The injured persons in the accident were sent to Demow Model Hospital for treatment. After primary treatment in Demow Model Hospital, Hitesh Bajaj of Demow, Gautam Dehingia and Madhab Kalita who were in the Tata AC car were referred to Dibrugarh for better treatment.
