Sonitpur DC holds DPC meeting with all BDOs
Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das chaired a DPC meeting with all BDOs which was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in the presence of Tezpur MLA Prithiraj Rava, president of Sonitpur Zila Parishad, Dolly Surin, CEO, Zila Parishad Diganta Baishya, BDOs, COs, ZP, AP members and other officials of P&RD department.

TEZPUR: Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das chaired a DPC meeting with all BDOs which was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office in the presence of Tezpur MLA Prithiraj Rava, president of Sonitpur Zila Parishad, Dolly Surin, CEO, Zila Parishad Diganta Baishya, BDOs, COs, ZP, AP members and other officials of P&RD department.
The Deputy Commissioner asked all BDOs to conduct Block Level Advisory-cum-Monitoring Committee meetings at the earliest at their respective blocks for selection of schemes at the anchalik panchayat-level as well as gaon panchayat level under 15th Finance Commission as per government allocation, so that the same may be placed in next DPC meeting for necessary approval.
All BDOs were also asked to coordinate with PRIs on a regular basis, and make them aware about the government guidelines, government fund allocations from time to time. For smooth and timely disposal of technical works at Zila Panchayat level, the Deputy Commissioner asked CEO, ZP to issue necessary instructions so that plan and estimate of ZP schemes can be prepared by AE/JE of Blocks at the earliest.
ZP schemes of 15th FC 2020-21 (2nd Installment) Untied Grant along with ZP schemes of 2021-22 (1st Installment) Tied Grant were approved during the meeting.
