Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner deployed NCC cadets to aid civil authorities

Tezpur: The Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur approached NCC Group Headquarters (Bravo) for deploying NCC cadets to aid the civil administration within the municipal limits of Tezpur city. In response to this, cadets of 5 Assam Bn NCC have been deployed along with local police personnel to enforce lockdown and anti-COVID measures in the city. Three teams of NCC cadets are assisting the local population and civil administration in queue and traffic management. PPE for these cadets have been provided by local authorities, Harsh Wardhan Pande, Lt Col, PRO (Defence) said.
