Sonitpur police arrested three poachers involved in wild buffalo poaching

TEZPUR: In a successful operation against poachers, Sonitpur police arrested three dreaded poachers involved in wild buffalo poaching in the first addition to Burhachapori Wildlife Sanctuary in Sonitpur district, on Thursday night.

Officials sources said that the three poachers have been identified as Abdul Barek (40) from BagheTapu village under Laokhowa char-chapori PS, MoqseidulHoque (30) from Ghulirpar village under Laokhowa char-chapori PS and Shomor Ali (60) from BagheTapu Village under Laokhowa char-chapori in Sonitpur district.
