Sonitpur Police arrested Two bike lifters

Tezpur: Sonitpur Police arrested two habitual bike lifters and seized five stolen motorcycles from them on Monday. The apprehended bike-lifters have been identified as Asor Ali of Gabhoru grant, Kishan Basti and Madan Sah of Thelamara area under Thelamara PS in Sonitpur district and recovered five motorcycles from their possession. Asor Ali has earlier records of involvement in stealing cases. On arresting Ali, the police found out that he had been arrested for stealing some months ago and sentenced to jail. A case 17/2020 u/s 379 IPC has been registered against them and they were sent to jail.
