Souvenir on the life and works of Jaganidhi Dahal

UDALGURI: An editorial board has been formed to publish a souvenir on the life and works of Jaganidhi Dahal, with Dr. Khagen Sarma as president and Lakshmi Sendai as editor, in a meeting held at 5 no. Dhansiri village under the chairmanship of Budhindra Gautam.

In this editorial board, Baidyanath Upadhyaya, Ekadev Adhikari, Budhindra Gautam, Padma Oli, Sanjeev Khatiwada and Hari Oli are members while litterateur Puspadhar Sarma, Dr. Harka Bahadur Chhetri, Gayatri Bhattarai, Nara Prasad Acharya, Sriprasad Sarma and Badanidhi Gautam have been nominated as advisers. The souvenir will comprise articles in Nepali, Assamese, Bodo, Hindi, and English. This souvenir will be released on the day of his adyashraddha.

Jaganidhi Dahal was a retired teacher of Lailonpara M E School and a local correspondent of Purvanchal Prahari from Rowta. He was also a short story-writer and a popular satire writer. He passed away on November 14 at the age of 73.
