Speaking in an event in NTPC, Bongaigaon Ramon Magsaysay Award winner Rajinder Singh stresses on the need for water management

Kokrajhar: Under the eminent speaker series, NTPC, Bongaigaon invited Ramon Magsaysay Award winner Rajinder Singh to address the employees as well as family members and share his experiences recently.

Singh, who is more popularly known as Water Gandhi, spoke about the urgent need for water management. It was an eye-opening as well as enlightening experience for the audience as Rajendra Singh gave a vivid presentation about the declining rate of groundwater and the crisis of the rivers in India. He also spoke about his journey in Rajasthan and the building of Johads to turn barren land into fertile green area. Chief General Manager, NTPC, Bongaigaon, Chandan Chakraborty felicitated Rajinder Singh and spoke about his contribution as a whole to the society. The programme was attended by all senior management, employees, CISF as well as family members of NTPC Bongaigaon.
