Special campaign for enrolment of young voters starts in Bongaigaon
A special campaign for enrollment of new voters has started in Bongaigoan Election District. A day-long programme was organized in Bongaigoan College by the district administration and District Election Office, Bongaigoan on Friday.

BONGAIGAON: A special campaign for enrollment of new voters has started in Bongaigoan Election District. A day-long programme was organized in Bongaigoan College by the district administration and District Election Office, Bongaigoan on Friday.
The programme was participated by Dr. Rupanjali Devi, Principal of Bongaigoan College, other professors and by all the students of the college. The main objective of the programme was to enroll young voters who had attained the age of 18 or above or will attain 18 years on 01/01/2022. The programme was part of SVEEP or awareness programmes of Special Summary Revision 2022.The students, or the future voters were also briefed about the NVSP portal and Voter Helpline app, which they can use for enrollment of their names in the voter list of the election district.
Special camps will also be organized on November 13, November 14, November 21and November 27, 2021 in the district. The District Election Officer, Bongaigoan appealed to all the young voters who had attained the age of 18 or will attain the age of 18 as on 01/01/2022 to enroll themselves in the electoral roll of the district within November 30, 2021.
