Special COVID-19 vaccination drive launched for polling personnel in Darrang district

MANGALDAI: The Darrang District Health Committee, with the direction from Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah, has launched a special COVID-19 vaccination drive from Monday, aimed mainly to cover every personnel involved in the upcoming Assembly election process.

The administration has appealed to its employees to get vaccinated within the stipulated timeframe for successful conduct of free, fair and safe election in the district. Those eligible for vaccination can get their names registered either by directly visiting the vaccination sites or through Co-Win portal or through 'Aarogya Setu' app.

Eligible beneficiaries are asked to bring with them identification documents such as PAN card, voter identification card, driving license for smooth completion of the drive. Some of the centres for vaccination are Chamuapara Primary Health Centre and Hazarikapara Primary Health Centre, among others.
