Special mega vaccination drive in Kokrajhar
To achieve cent per cent of first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the district, the Kokrajhar district administration has decided to hold another mega vaccination drive on October 2 in connection with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti.

KOKRAJHAR: To achieve cent per cent of first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the district, the Kokrajhar district administration has decided to hold another mega vaccination drive on October 2 in connection with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti.
As per sources, the mega vaccination camps would be held in 189 centres spread across the entire district. Sources said as on September 29, as many as 4, 92,000 persons got the first dose while 1, 07,500 persons have completed both the doses in the district. The percentage of first dose in the district stands at 84 per cent while second dose vaccine stands at 18.35 per cent. The health department has appealed to people to come forward to take the first dose of vaccine on October 2.
