GOLAGHAT: Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, observed its 27th School Day on 25th December with a small function with a minimum gathering following Covid -19 SOP.

The program began with lamp lighting by Chairman Managing Committee Dr. Giridhar Phukan. Students chanted Vedam and presented school theme song.

Bipul Rajkumar, joint Secretary School Management committee briefed about the contributions by various people for the school.

Subhasis Rajkhowa, Principal of the Institution in his brief speech highlighted the achievements of goals of academic, co - curricular and spiritual enlightenment despite challenges and breaches due to Covid -19 since March 2020.

During the function For 2021-22 session Late Mrinalini Barua Memorial Award was given to Natasha Bheura, Late Rajen Barua Memorial Award was awarded to Nabhia Mariam, Late Pranab Gohain Memorial Trust Award of Rs. 5000 was won by Pragyashree Kachari, Late Sadananda Gogoi Memorial Trust Award for Best All Round Performance of Rs. 3000 was awarded jointly to Bagmita Borpatra Gohain and Bishal Gupta, and Late Durga Phukan Trust award of Rs. 5000, for year 2019-2021 was given to Jagriti Saikia and for 2021-23 was given to Md. Irfan Adil.

The students presented a short cultural programme and came to an end with Mangala Harathi to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
