State Minister of Excise, Transport and Fisheries Suklabaidya chairs review meeting in Sivasagar
During the meeting, Suklabaidya reviewed the schemes and revenue-related issues being implemented in the district by the departments.

SIVASAGAR: State Minister of Excise, Transport and Fisheries Parimal Suklabaidya attended a review meeting at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar on Friday evening. Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma, Nazira Sub Divisional Officer Ayushi Jain and Departmental Heads of Excise, Transport and Fisheries Departments were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the schemes and revenue-related issues being implemented in the district by the departments. The minister directed the heads of the three departments to take all measures to achieve the target of fixed revenue and to complete the schemes being implemented by the departments in a time-bound manner.
Urging the deputy commissioner for his help in all these matters, the minister urged the departments to continue working efficiently in the interest of the people.
Earlier, the minister inaugurated Amguri Paddy Procurement Centre under NAFED at Sologuri Gaon Panchayat Cooperative Society and another Paddy Procurement Centre at Baniabari near Sivasagar town under AFCSCL.
Later, he visited the Sibsagar Government Higher Secondary & Multipurpose School in Sivasagar and interacted with the students and teachers and paid homage in front of the statue of Padmanath Gohain Baruah, an iconic literary figure in the premises of the 182 years old heritage school. The minister expressed satisfaction at knowing the history of the school and urged the teachers to keep the heritage intact.
During the visit, the minister was accompanied by Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav, ADC Karmadev Brahma and Inspector of Schools of Sivasagar.
