Stolen HSD oil recovered by Government Railway Police in Chirang district

BONGAIGAON: Following information, Government Railway Police of New Bongaigaon and Chirang police jointly recovered about 120 litres of HSD oil which had been stolen.

Sanjib Choudhury, IC, New Bongaigaon GRP, said that they conducted the raid at about 3.30 pm in the Bartalowa area of the Chirang district. "We were accompanied by other staff and TSI Dipon Narzary. We recovered two containers (capacity 60 litres) containing HSD Oil. Both the containers were seized and a GD entry has been made in station diary vide NBQ GRP-IC GDE No 340 dated 20.07.2022. Investigation is going on to nab the culprits behind this," he said.
