Storm, heavy rains lash Kokrajhar, several houses damaged

KOKRAJHAR: Several houses were damaged and trees were uprooted in several villages including, Bishmuri, Digli, Khengkai, Tinali, Titaguri Haloadal due to strong storm and rains in Kokrajhar. The storm and heavy rains lashed in Kokrajhar at around 7 pm on Saturday. No official from the district administration visited the areas to take stock about the damages. The heavy rain storm has affected several places including Magurmari, Sesapani, Shukanjhora, Titaguri, Duramari in the district.
