Street play on rain water conservation staged by Morigaon Nehru Yuba Kendra

MORIGAON: A street play on rain water conservation and its usage was staged by Morigaon Nehru Yuba Kendra (NYK) at three places in Morigaon town. The street play was performed by Nagaon Silpi Kannon Natya Gusthi.

The drama group performed the street play to create awareness among people about the importance of rain water conservation. The street play also focused on the responsibility of voters keeping in mind the ensuing assembly election in the State. The NYK has been organizing such awareness programmes under the Ministry of Water Conservation, Government of India, in various places of the district.
