Students of Private schools in Merapani subdivision stands out with good result

MERAPANI: The private sector schools of Merapani subdivision have shown the unprecedented result in the HSLC exam, 2019. In Doyang examination centre, 321 candidates passed out of 527 students who had appeared. Out of these, 13 secured star marks, 66 got first division, 120 secured second division and 135 secured third division. Krishna Phukan, a student of Doyang Bal Vidyapith secured highest marks from the centre.

In Kachamari centre, 207 candidates passed out of 407. Among these, 21 secured star marks in the first division, 56 secured second division and 132 secured third division. In Jamuguri centre, 408 candidates appeared and 260 passed. Out of these, 34 secured first division, 88 secured second division and 138 secured third division. The pass percentage of the centre is 63.72 per cent.

Ujjal Balya Bhawan Public School, an eminent private sector near Merapani subdivision, achieved 100 per cent success in the HSLC exam, 2019, result of which were declared on Wednesday. Rupali Gohain Bora, the principal of the school, said that all the five students who had appeared for the exam passed. This was the first batch of the school to appear for the HSLC exam.
