Sudarshan Sanskritik Kendra to Celebrate Silver Jubilee with Jyoti Prasad Agarwala’s 122nd Birth Anniversary

JAMUGURIHAT: The 122nd birth anniversary of Jyoti Prasad Agarwala will be celebrated on June 15 and 17 in connection with the Silver Jubilee celebration of Sudarshan Sanskritik Kendra, one of the leading socio-cultural organizations in Jamugurihat. The first programme of the yearlong Silver Jubilee celebration of Sudarshan Sanskritik Kendra began on April 22 and the second programme of the Jubilee will be the celebration of the 122nd birth anniversary of Agarwala with a two-day programme on June 15 and 17. The programme will include various competitions among the students on June 15. On June 17, the daylong programme will begin with smriti tarpan, illumination of ceremonial lamps, followed by a panel discussion. Two panellists, Dr Bhakta Prasad Goutam and Dipankar Saikia will grace the occasion. It will be followed by a prize distribution ceremony.

The programme will be held at Abhijatri Kala Kendra here. Lila Bhuyan and Ridip Bora, President and Secretary of the celebration committee respectively, informed the same through a press release.
