TINSUKIA: “Teachers not only educate students but also inspire them to change the pace of life,” Amrit Rajkhowa, prominent writer, singer and educator said at the closing ceremony of 24-day free summer camp at Indira Gandhi High School Laipuli suburb of Tinsukia on Monday. The camp organized by Laipuli branch of Mottock Yuba Chatra Sanmilon was participated by more than 200 students drawn from greater Laipuli. In the meeting chaired by headmaster Mukanda Madhab Mahanta, the resource persons Amrit Rajkhowa, Jyoti Moran, Molen Chetia were felicitated. Among those who attended the concluding programme and addressed the gathering were social worker Pranjal Neog, Kabita Gohain of Mottock Mahila Parishad, Sanjoy Gogoi, Chandra Kamal Baruah and Dibyajyoti Baruah of Mottock Yuba Chatra Sanmilon.
