Summer dance workshop kicks off

TANGLA, July 4: In a bid to guide and enlighten the budding talents and inculcate the art of dance in them, winner and runners-up of popular dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 2, Bishal Sharma and Kunal Jyoti Rabha attended the inaugural session of a month-long summer dance workshop organized by D-Dance Academy here in Don Bosco HS School. The resource persons were elated to witness the large number of participants. They mostly concentrated on the dance form Bollywood freestyle. Many noted citizens of Tangla, including Ashim Roy, were present at the inauguration of the workshop along with Fr. Ranjit Xalxo.

Bishal Sharma shared many valuable inputs on mastering the art and craft of dance. The anecdotes of his life and career left the ecstatic crowd inspired. “The main motive of this summer dance workshop is to enhance different dance forms among children as well as the face and body expressions,” said the chief instructor of the academy, Biki Donal Nandi.
