Supari mafia allegedly tries to kidp SMSS leader

GOLAGHAT, Feb 24: A sensatiol attempt of kidpping of Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) central committee general secretary Bidyut Saikia took place in Golaghat on Saturday evening.
According to sources, six person came in a white colour Innova bearing No. AS 01 BW 6600 and stopped Bidyut Saikia by force while he was in a bike on his way to meet a friend at Bogorijeng. This incident was took place near the Golaghat police reserve camp in Bogorijeng. Surprisingly, the kidppers released him after sometime.
The general secretary of SMSS, Bidyut Saikia alleged that supari mafia Abdul Hann’s associates took him away by force and threatened to kill him. They said that Bidyut Saikia was sending information of supari syndicate in Golaghat to KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi. The men took him to the Dhansiri bridge but in the meantime they received a phone call and after that he was released at Golaghat police reserve.
KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi lodged an FIR against the supari syndicate few days back and Golaghat Police seized as many as eight supari- carrying vehicles. The KMSS lodged an FIR after the incident.
