Supermodel Karan Oberoi Adds Glitz To IIT Guwahati's Alcheringa 2023

GUWAHATI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, is a prominent institution in our nation, and each year it hosts Alcheringa, a cultural festival. This prestigious institute enthusiastically and joyfully celebrates the Alcheringa every year.

This year, it took place from February 2 through February 5. A group of IIT students started it all back in 1996, and every year since then, it has been proudly celebrated by bringing many famous people and experts in their fields to attend as honourable guests, serve as judges for various competitions, and provide entertainment for all.

This year, they invited Karan Oberoi, one of the top male models in our nation, to judge at their renowned Haute Couture fashion show. Oberoi is one of the most prominent male models working in the nation today. He has walked the runway for renowned fashion designers like Rohit Bal and Rajesh Pratap Singh, among others, and has partnered with a number of well-known brands like Royal Enfield motorcycles and Isuzu automobiles.

In a recent Zee music video that has received over 10 million views in the last three months, Oberoi can be seen. Mr Best physique was given to model Karan Oberoi, who finished in the top five of the Mr India International competition. Additionally, the Hindustan Times named him the best fitness model, and he took up the Global Leadership Awards' Youth Icon Model award.

The appearance of Oberoi at IIT Guwahati left the gathering speechless. All throughout the nation's fashion colleges entered the competition, and Oberoi named one of the girls from North East India College the "Best model." Students were observed taking photographs with Oberoi while harbouring modelling aspirations to be just like him.
